(1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this Act, a fugitive accused or a criminal shall not be prosecuted or punished for any other offense except for proceeding with respect to the offense mentioned at the time of the request for extradition.

(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if action is to be taken against other offenses of minor nature related to the offense mentioned at the time of extradition request, the requesting state shall take action against such accused or offender with the consent of the Government of Nepal.
